shrimp with vegetables probably moo goo gai pan. beef and broccoli beef very tender, broccoli done but a little texture, gravy not gloppy and flavorful There is no sushi here, the soup is brought to you (one bowl), and they have about 3 different desserts, not 20. This is a very small buffet with only about 7 dishes total, compared to like 40 or so at the Asian buffet on Austin Hwy. So as a vessel to get a wide range of samples I tried the buffet. Dragon Lake consistently came up on "who's got the best" lists on local Facebook groups. This does not include the several excellent Thai restaurants in the area. I have tried several of the Chinese restaurants in UC, read the reviews, and looked at the pics and all rate a 3 stars at best on Yelp and elsewhere. This is the only buffet at any of the six Chinese restaurants in Universal City. The food wasn't as fresh as if I got here at 11am but I was starving.
Arrived at their only lunch buffet during the week on a Wed from 11-2pm at 130.
